Donations

The Bridge is a not for profit organisation and a registered Charity.  We are currently receive some funding from Charnwood Borough Council, Supporting People and the Department for Communities and Local Government.  We also apply to various trusts, foundations and lottery funding to continue to provide all our services.

The Bridge is a service that runs all year round and is staffed full time during normal office hours to offer aid and assistance to any that need it within your local community.

As a non profit organisation, we appreciate donations from members of the community and you can do this by Cash or Cheque. Please telephone 01509 260500 for further details.

Do a parachute jump for the Bridge!

We are looking for people from all over the country to make a sponsored parachute jump on our behalf and in return we are willing to pay for it! Contact the Bridge for everything you need including your reservation form and sponsorship forms. We've made everything as easy as possible for you to take part.

As you will see from the literature there are three different types of parachute jump for you to choose from. We ask you to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship money in order for you to jump for free (from £360 depending on the type of jump you choose) and in turn we will receive an average donation of £140. In addition to this, every extra pound that you raise over the minimum comes straight to the charity, so please try to raise as much as you possibly can!

The information has been written by professional events organisers Skyline who receive a flat rate per jumper for organising the jumps for us. We sincerely hope that after you have read through the information you will decide to give it a go. We are in desperate need of funds in order to continue our work and don't forget, all you have to do is raise the minimum amount of sponsorship and you will get to jump for free! 

Gift Aid is a way to make your donation go further, if you pay tax, we can claim £0.28p per £1.00 back from the Inland Revenue.  Imagine a donation of £100 becoming £128 with no extra cost.
