What is the Single Access Point?
The Single Access Point is a specialist homelessness prevention service which works with 16 and 17 year old young people who are having difficulties where they are living or are homeless.
We are a specialist service delivered in partnership with Charnwood Borough Council.
Some young people may find it difficult to stay where they are, or may have reached the point where they have looked into or gone to stay at other places.
Our starting point is to help prevent young people from becoming homeless and to make the transition into adult life less traumatic. Our prevention service has been successful in helping young people to remain at home and rebuild relationships with their families.
The Single Access Point can also help young people who are living away from home, perhaps for the first time, who may need some additional help, support and advice on their situation.
